Ann Dagle
Town Clerk |
The Office of Town Clerk is considered the center of town government
and is a major source of information to the residents of the Town
of Shrewsbury. The Town Clerk records birth and death records for
all residents and marriage records for those who apply for their marriage
license in Shrewsbury. In addition to recording minutes of town meetings
and election results, this office maintains Zoning Bylaws, General
Bylaws, Traffic Rules and Orders and Personnel Bylaws. Appointments
to town boards and committees are recorded here and qualifying oaths
are administered to all appointees. In compliance with the open meeting
law, town Boards and Committees file notices of meetings with the
Town Clerk for recording and posting.
