    High Water Restrictions Placed on Lake Quinsigamond - The Lake Quinsigamond Commission has taken specific action due to the unusually high water level on the lake caused by the recent rain. - more »

    » Police Release Composite of Woman Posing as Nurse - Police have released a composite sketch of the woman wanted in connection with the unarmed robbery of a 92 year old resident last Tuesday night. She is described as a white or Hispanic female, 5’-8”, short brown hair, with a round face. The woman entered the victim’s residence posing as a nurse. - more »

    » Shrewsbury Library to Aid Hurricane Relief Effort - During the week of October 24 – 30, Massachusetts libraries and their users will help make a difference to the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Joining this statewide effort, Shrewsbury Public Library will suspend collection of overdue fines that week and instead accept monetary contributions towards hurricane relief. -- more »

    Relay for Life to Sponsor Halloween Dance - On October 28, 2005 from 7pm to 11pm the Relay for Life in Shrewsbury is sponsoring a dance at the new Knights of Columbus on South Quinsigamond Ave. in Shrewsbury. Costumes are optional, but encouraged. - more »
